    Ristorante Bagni Delfino Sorrento

Ristorante Bagni Delfino Sorrento is just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento town. It is located in the delightful Marina Grande Sorrento surrounded by picturesque houses. After you get down to the water, you will see a sign that has an arrow with the words “Delfino”.  Just follow the sign and keep walking all the way down to the opposite end of the marina. It is situated on the end of the pier that sits in the Marina Grande, part of the Bay of Naples.

Ristorante Bagni Delfino Sorrento is a family owned restaurant that takes pride in high quality food. The hostess and waiters are very welcoming and friendly. Service is outstanding, and recommendations are spot on. Very helpful and accommodating to make sure you have the perfect dining experience. It is a great place to have anything you want. You can enjoy a drink, a light snack or a delicious meal. And you can spend all day there sunbathing and swimming from their private bathing deck.

Before your meal comes out, they give you complimentary bruschetta; grilled bread topped with fresh tomatoes and garlic, finished off with olive oil, salt and pepper. Portions are hearty and the dishes are robust in flavor. They get their seafood right off the fishermen’s boats, it’s as fresh as it gets. The fried calamari is lightly breaded, tender and flavorful. Other suggestions include, their seafood risotto with fresh mussels clams, squid and octopus. The risotto is delicately and flavored with very little garlic and topped with a pinch of fresh parsley. The sea bass, which is filleted at the table, is perfectly cooked and also excellent. If you have room for dessert, the Caprese chocolate cake is a terrific way to end the meal.

At the end of your meal they also provide you with complimentary limoncello, so you can enjoy some of what the proud people of Sorrento and the south of Italy are famous.

It’s nice to come here for lunch or for dinner, but it is especially beautiful in the evening when the sun goes down. The cool breeze from the bay is very soothing as you hear the calming whooshing sound of the waves. You can watch the sun go down and the lights come on all around the bay is another delight. The evening turns into a quaint village where you can spend a wonderful evening of romance and tranquility. It may get a bit cool at night, so remember to bring a light sweater. I suggest making reservations, as it a very popular restaurant. [/tab]

    Terrazza Marziale Restaurant Sorrento

Nothing is more satisfying than having a fine meal on a terrace with a beautiful coastal view. That is exactly what you are getting if you visit Terrazza Marziale. When you are done with your meal, you can enjoy a nice trip to some of the most beautiful spots in Sorrento. It is located in close proximity to the Cloister of St. Francis, Villa Comunale, and other notable places in this beautiful Italian town. This restaurant will certainly exceed your expectations.

The skill and creativity of their chefs is evident in their cuisines. Every bite is an opportunity to experience the sumptuous flavors of local Sorrentine cuisines. They also serve a wide range of traditional Mediterranean dishes that are reinterpreted by their chefs to suit the demanding taste of the 21st century food lovers. Using high quality ingredients coming from the Campania region, they always create culinary magic in every plate. With the best skills and unwavering motivation to please clients, it is no longer surprising why locals and tourists keep coming back for more.

Terrazza Marziale Restaurant Sorrento makes sure their customers are thoroughly satisfied with the food and service they provide every single time. Whatever dish you order, you can expect great presentation. It will stimulate all your senses because their dishes look and smell just as good as they taste. This clearly explains why they became one of the most popular restaurants in Sorrento. Every dish in their menu is mouth-watering, but it is their Chateaubriand that is recommended by many diners.

Aside from their superb foods, they also impress customers with the hospitality of their staff. They make sure that you feel at home. Do not hesitate to ask for recommendations if you are not sure what to order. They also have a seasoned sommelier who could help you choose a nice bottle of wine to go with your meals. The restaurant also has a romantic ambience, making it a perfect choice for couples who are celebrating a special occasion.

Sorrento is such a crowded town as it attracts thousands of tourists every year. While dining in their terrace, you will be able to enjoy your food without being bothered by the hustle and bustle of the touristy streets. They managed to keep their dining area relaxing despite the fact that they are located right in the center of the town. If you want to escape the crowd and noise while enjoying a hearty meal, then you need to come to this fabulous restaurant.

Compared to other restaurants in Sorrento, Terrazza Marziale is a bit pricy. However, this does not deter customers from coming back because they know that every euro they will spend is worth it.

TIP: Be sure to call in advance if you want to reserve an outdoor table.[/tab]

    Fauno Bar Sorrento

Fauno Bar Sorrento is located right in the heart of Piazza Tasso Sorrento. It’s a great spot for lunch or dinner, or simply for a few drinks and just watch the world go by.

Fauno Bar Sorrento serves as a cafe during the day, however it transforms itself into one of the hottest spots in Sorrento at night. It’s a perfect spot after a long day of sightseeing. They have both inside and outside seating on a very large patio. Get a table right on the square,  so you can enjoy the wonderful views that Sorrento has to offer. The atmosphere is great, as it is always packed and buzzing with both locals and tourists.

The menu is pretty extensive and prices are very appealing. The food is fresh, plentiful, and very tasty. They have the usual light offerings of pastries ( tiramisu is top notch), espresso and giant cups of cappuccino. They also have sandwiches, salads and pizzas. Traditional favorites like pasta, lamb fish and gnocchi. The gnocchi is very fresh and melts in your mouth. They also have gluten-free menu. For lunch, I would recommend the Bresaola salad; air-dried salted beef, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese over arugula topped with extra virgin oil olive and fresh lemon. For dinner you can’t go wrong with the spaghetti alla carbonara (bacon, eggs, in a cream sauce with Pecorino cheese). For dessert, you have to try either the nutella crepes or nutella ice cream. They are both phenomenal. At the end of your dinner, they bring you a complimentary glass of limoncello as well.

The staff are simply brilliant and professional. They are friendly and willingly speak English. All of them are extremely well dressed in black trousers and long aprons, jackets and bow ties.

They offer a wide range of drinks, including some interesting non-alcoholic fruit cocktails. Beers are served ice cold! They also have local wines on their menu which are very good and also reasonably priced. After you have been greeted and seated, your waiter will give you a complimentary combination of nuts, green olives and crisps with your drink.

The only drawback is that with most Italian restaurants they allow smoking. Sometimes, even if you are seated in a non smoking area, you will find smoke drifting across. If you sit in the right place, it is absolutely fine.[/tab]
