The Colosseum B&B - Via Capo D'Africa 59 - 00184 Rome is situated in the historical heart of Rome, near the "Basilica dei Santi Quattro Coronati" and the Arch of Constantine, just steps away from the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums. It's a family run business and for being a B&B it has some great amenities like A/C in public areas, complimentary wireless Internet access, luggage storage and tours/ticket assistance. Moreover, complimentary street parking is available nearby and limo or town car service is provided upon request! Sounds like a 4 star hotel to me!

  1. Hi. We will be in Rome in November. We’ll be staying in the Colosseum B&B hotel near to the Colosseum. Do you have any suggestions for the best and inexpensive way to get to our hotel from the train station Termini? We are a family of six and we don’t wish to split up if possible. Appreciate your advice. Thanks.

    • Hello Tom,
If you’re asking me the cheapest way, I’d suggest you the metro. The Colosseum has a Metro station and from Termini you would take the Metro B towards Laurentina and get off at the second stop. Ask your host how far away the Colosseum Metro stop is from the B&B, or if by any chance there is a bus stop in front of their house! If you decide to take a taxi it will cost you around 15.00 – 20.00 Euros. For every baggage piece they charge 1.00 Euro.

    • I would say around 15 °C in the beginning of November and then it can get a little colder towards the end of the month. The best thing I think you can do is dress in layers so you can quickly adjust to the weather conditions. It usually not a rainy month but even if it does rain, no worries – umbrella vendors are all over when it happens and for around 5.00 Euros you’ll get yourself one!
