Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini used to be the center of attention during the Dolce Vita period.
Many major streets join together in Piazza Barberini Rome. The Piazza is most famous for Bernini's Fountain of the Triton - Fontana del Tritone. Bernini did many fountains in Rome, just think about Piazza del Popolo! If you go straight up to Via Veneto, before on the right corner of Piazza Barberini, you'll see another of his fountains called Fountain of the Bees - Fontana delle Api. There's a hotel right on Piazza Barberini called Bernini Hotel which is famous for their beautiful rooftop terrace and restaurant.
