However, it is within walking distance of the Milan Central Train Station (right across the street), making it easy to transport luggage. Hop on Hop off bus stop is located adjacent to the hotel. Also, the metro station is just a short stroll away. Which makes it easy for you to explore Milan and all of its surrounding areas. Milan Cathedral and Church of Santa Maria dell Grazie are within a 20 minute ride from the hotel. The area around the hotel is quite nice. There are some lovely shops, and restaurants if you want to dine out. There are numerous restaurants as you walk out of the hotel to your left. However, if you go right and walk a couple of blocks, you will you see so many more restaurants where the locals eat.

Michelangelo Hotel Milan spans over 17 floors and has 306 rooms. Including singles, doubles, triples and luxurious suites to choose from. Rooms are a large, for European hotels and very clean. Plenty of amenities like a safe, an iron with ironing board. Electric curtains, so there is really no need to step out of the bed. Bathrooms offer hair dryers and bathrobes. And even a jacuzzi bathtub, which is super clean. Mini bar has complimentary water and orange juice, replaced daily, which is a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing. Free WiFi access in hotel rooms is very fast. Please note, the you have to turn on your TV to get Wi-Fi. Rooms on the higher floors have terrific views across the city and the surrounding mountains. Rooms are equipped with everything, with great attention to every detail. Very comfortable, some are a bit small like most European hotel rooms. However, there is plenty of hanging space and a few places to put luggage or bags. Chocolates placed on the pillow is a nice touch. The mini bar is stocked with complimentary water, juice and soft drinks. And a kettle with tea and coffee, with packs of biscuits is also provided. Wi-Fi is free, and amazingly fast. The bathroom also offers plenty of room, with a nice touches of toiletries.

Hotel Berna Milan has two separate buildings that feature 116 rooms. They are located across from each other. If you are looking for a bit more modern luxury, I recommend staying in the main building.

The service is excellent, with every member of the staff eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are helpful and friendly, and speak terrific English. Very informative about attractions in the city, and how to get around.

The complimentary breakfast provided is simply amazing and everything is fresh. A large variety of hot and cold options. From cereal and yogurt, croissants, cakes, to eggs and bacon, plus coffee and tea. and fresh carrot juice that you can make on your own. There is something for everyone. The best part is they serve from 6:00 am to 11:00 am.

There is free coffee, tea, water and sweets in the lobby all day, as well as very cozy seating. Nice bar area, with a wide screen TV. They offer free range of tasty appetizers between about 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Hotel Berna Milan does’t have a restaurant on site, but you can order room service which comes from a place down the street.
