Hotel Brunelleschi is a beautiful 4 star hotel in the center of Florence, close to the Uffizi Gallery.
It is a very convenient base from which to explore many attractions in Florence. It’s a short walking distance to many excellent restaurants and wine bars as well.
This building has historical significance dating back from the 6th and 7th centuries. Portions of it used to be a church and the tower was used as a women's prison.
Hotel Brunelleschi has recently been refurbished and it is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. They all have modern amenities. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are great. There is a good size flat screen TV. It offers a wide selection of channels. Free access to the Wi-Fi is available to guests. The espresso maker in the room is a nice touch. The linens and towels were of good quality and fresh. There are plenty of lovely toiletries in the bathroom.
The entire staff at the Hotel Brunelleschi is truly outstanding professionals. They are welcoming, courteous and very helpful. Each one of them performs their job perfectly and with a smile. The concierge service is very knowledgeable.
Breakfast is included in most rates. They offer fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, bread, hot dishes, fresh pastries and cereals. The coffee is very good and they have juices that are freshly squeezed. The kitchen staff is very friendly and attentive.
Hotel Brunelleschi has a small but well laid out gym for their guests.
Santa Elisabetta restaurant is located in the tower part of Hotel Brunelleschi. It is a small restaurant with 7 or 8 tables. Both the food and wine is quite outstanding.
If decide to stay at Hotel Brunelleschi, I recommend booking a room on the fifth floor because the view is remarkable.
Hotel Brunelleschi will make your trip to Florence a most memorable time with breathtaking views.
