Bed and Breakfast La Gradiva

Bed and Breakfast La Gradiva is just a few paces from the Ponte Vecchio on the south side of the Arno River. The Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Vecchio is about a five-minute walk. The location gives you easy access to Florence's shopping, historic landmarks and museums. There are many dining options also found in the surrounding area.

The rooms are on the second floor above the shops. By staying at Bed and Breakfast La Gradiva it will give you a true experience of Italian hospitality. The owner Ricardo creates an atmosphere of welcome and friendliness. Riccardo will personally greet you when you arrive.

All the rooms are newly renovated. Bedrooms are clean, cozy and feature beautiful artwork.

The amenities in the rooms include a flat-screen TV (no English channels), a desk, ironing board and a beautiful wrought iron bed. The private bathroom in each room includes a shower, complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer. All rooms are all air-conditioned and feature a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Guests can relax and enjoy the view in the common roof garden. The kitchen and dining area is open to guests to cook simple meals and make coffee. One of the amenities at the B&B La Gradiva includes an airport shuttle.

Riccardo serves breakfast every morning. It’s simple but bountiful and appealing. He prepares coffee/tea/juice. He provides an array of meats and cheese. He also brings the most amazing pastries and freshly made croissants from a local bakery.

Riccardo is very responsive and caring host. He truly cares about his guests and makes sure you have everything you need during your stay. He will be happy to give you recommendations to restaurants and arrange a taxi for you.

There is a supermarket just around the corner to the right before you get to the Ponte Vecchio.

I recommend that you pre-arrange a specific time of your arrival with Riccardo. He sometimes will step out for a couple of minutes and locks the entrance. If you have a car there is private parking (reservation is needed). It is available at a location nearby and costs EUR 15 per day.

Just be aware that the entrance to Bed and Breakfast La Gradiva is on a side street in a quiet little alley. It can bit a bit difficult to find, so make sure you get specific directions.
