Hotel Palazzo Vitturi Venice is superbly located on the Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Positioned so that all of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. However, just far enough away to be wonderfully quiet both day and night time. It's about ten minute stroll to either The Rialto Bridge or Piazza San Marco. Surrounded by many terrific restaurants and shops.

Hotel Palazzo Vitturi Venice dates back to the 13th century. It has been recently renovated. Classic, and full of character. Fitting nicely to the expectations of tourist who visits this beautiful city. From the corridor Venetian style glass windows, original frescoes on the walls and high ceilings. Also, the unique flooring and beautiful Italian furniture. Rooms are nice and clean, with all the amenities you need. Very comfortable, with all the charm of old world Venice and convenience of modern facilities. Free WiFi, coffee maker, full internet TV.

Continental breakast is served between 8:00 a.m and 10:00 a.m. They offer all the main items, including meats, cheeses, coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt. The gorgeous view across the square while eating breakfast is a bonus.

Personnel at the front desk are extremely helpful. Always polite and very warm. They go out of their way for their guests. Accommodating in helping to arrange various visits and travels. Excellent recommendations for restaurants. The also provided a free ride on a private water taxi to Murano glass factory. There is a grocery store less than five minutes away.

What you need to keep in mind is there is no elevator in Hotel Palazzo Vitturi Venice. Stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep. Might be a challenge for anybody who has problems with stairs. So if you have elders or mobility issues ask for a room on the main floor.

Room Tip: The best rooms are overlooking the square and the Church of Santa Maria Formosa.
