Excellent recommendations for restaurants. The also provided a free ride on a private water taxi to Murano glass factory. There is a grocery store less than five minutes away.

What you need to keep in mind is there is no elevator in Hotel Palazzo Vitturi Venice. Stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep. Might be a challenge for anybody who has problems with stairs. So if you have elders or mobility issues ask for a room on the main floor.

Room Tip: The best rooms are overlooking the square and the Church of Santa Maria Formosa.
