The position of Hotel Bellevue Syrene Sorrento is ideally situated as it's close to center of Sorrento, perched on the cliff with brilliant views across the Bay of Naples towards Vesuvius. The access to downtown Sorrento is really great. Only a five minute walk to the city center in Sorrento (Piazza Tasso square). Which is great way to explore. No buses or cabs. Just walk a couple of blocks and you are dining at excellent restaurants and enjoying great shopping. Also a convenient base to explore this part of Italy. It's close to the ferry dock. So if you want to go to Capri, or Amalfi for the day you are a ten minute walk away.

The staff are professional and friendly. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you step foot onto the cascading floral pathway leading up to the hotel building. A staff member is there to welcome you and will accompany you to the reception area. The front desk staff are all exceptionally helpful in making reservations and arrangements.

Hotel Bellevue Syrene Sorrento have many nice rooms and exceptional suites to offer. Rooms are thoughtfully designed with a simple, fresh and beautiful Mediterranean touch. They all come with a TV, minibar, and a safe. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels. There are plenty of toiletries, and a hair dryer. Internet is free throughout the hotel as well.

The Club Lounge is a lovely touch. It is beautifully decorated and a nice place to unwind after a long day of exploring. Guests can enjoy complimentary service from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They serve soft drinks, wine and Peroni with various light salads and canapes. Later in the evening, they bring out the harder liquor for the guests to pour themselves a cocktail. The piano player adds a nice touch.

The breakfast is a continental buffet. It is is a wonderful way to start the day. Options are extensive and cater to all tastes and needs. Great selection of hot and cold food. Omelettes are available upon request. The Pompeian room, where breakfast is served is spectacular. With Roman pillars and full height windows running along the full elevation of the room offering panoramic views. You can also dine on the terrace with the most remarkable views over the bay of Naples and again Mount Vesuvius.

The pool is quite small. Not really suitable for swimming, however nice to dip into on a hot summers day. There is a place to swim in the bay from the hotel’s private dock.  There is a lift that will transfer you down to the dock. They provide lounge chairs (sunbeds) and towels that is well attended by hotel personnel.
