Bed and Breakfast Fiordaliso is set in a very nice old-fashion style building overlooking Piazza del Limbo. The location is just perfect. It is right in the city center. It is minutes from Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery is a 5-minute walk away. The famous Duomo is a ten-minute walk away. It has many restaurants and shops that surround it.
It is located on the first floor of a private residence. Rooms are on the second floor. There is no elevator but they will be happy to help with your luggage if needed.
Bed and Breakfast Fiordaliso offers five rustic rooms. Rooms are a good size and beautifully appointed. They are comfortable and clean, as well the private bathroom. The bathroom is not immediately connected to bedroom but very close by. They are equipped with a hair dryer, a shower and complimentary toiletries. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.
B & B Fiordaliso has a lounge where can sit and watch TV. The room is decorated with vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. There is free access to the Wi-Fi.
Laura and her husband Paul are both very attentive and polite hosts. They are very friendly and will make you feel right at home. They will both be more than happy to give you some the names of their favorite local restaurants. They are also very helpful in giving directions and tips.
Breakfast is served in your room. They provide coffee, tea, biscuits, fruit, yogurt and other packaged products. If you are interested in having something hot to eat, then you can arrange that with the hosts. Laura is a wonderful cook.
They offer single, double, or triple accommodations. Please keep in mind this is not a fancy hotel with all the extras amenities. The location of Bed and Breakfast Fiordaliso is the highlight as it offers easy access to many historical attractions in this beautiful city. It is within walking distance of the central train station, Santa Maria Novella. If you are traveling by car there is a parking garage on the street just behind them, via delle Terme.
