Anima Mundi Loungebar Rome
Anima Mundi is a lounge bar, a place for lunch and a place where you can stop by for dinner. Both locals and tourists join together in Anima Mundi to spend their fantastic time together. It's a little hidden away from the Mouth of Truth monument in a side street that you can reach from the main street called Via dei Cerchi. There opening hours are from 11.00 AM to 2 AM in the morning from Monday to Sunday.
This fabulous place is built into the walls next to the Roman Arch. Anima Mundi has an energizing, trendy but yet romantic atmosphere. Usually on Mondays a live band will be playing inside and it's great to listen to their music. Although the inside setting is rustic with stone brick walls, the interior is decorated with some modern pieces of furniture and lightning. The whole ambient is very nice and clean which makes you feel very comfortable. Their staff is very friendly and attentive to the customer's needs. It seems that you can ask them about anything, even about the city in general and not only about their food and they'll be happy to help you out.
Almost everyone working in Anima Mundi speaks English. I noticed that they even have the American way of serving ice-water in pitchers upon your arrival. On the menu you'll find Greek salads, hamburgers and chicken legs; not very Italian but the quality is excellent and everything smells so good. The prices here are pretty good, you can consider spending around 15.00 euro to 35.00 euro per person, depending on how many courses you have. The foods Anima Mundi offers are mainly Mediterranean; the real Italian experience. You can either choose a crunchy pizza or a delicious pasta plate. Anima Mundi offers free WIFI to their guests, so if you want to check your emails or use your computer during your vacation without spending extra time and money, Anima Mundi is a double deal. It looks like the barman knows his stuff and makes amazing cocktails. The staff behind the counter bar always works with a smile in their faces. If you're looking for a place where you came as a customer and leave as a friend then pass by Anima Mundi.
