Breakfast is an American-style buffet served in a former ballroom. This beautiful room has some wonderful 19th-century frescoes and chandeliers. While sitting you can look out the expansive windows and enjoy the view of Arno River. The buffet has fresh cut fruit, eggs, bacon and smoked salmon. It also includes Italian meats and cheese, fresh breads and pastries and yogurt. There are also gluten free options if requested. The catering staff is attentive and willing to help.
The roof top bar is a hidden gem. The staff at the bar is very friendly. This charming bar offers some terrific views of the Duomo and Campanille. It’s a great place to wind down after a day of touring Florence. If you can try to be up there as the sunsets, it is breathtaking.
