The Trastevere district is full of small shops, typical Roman restaurants and many art galleries where you can find and buy special souvenirs to take home with you. Domus Tiberina is located in the center part of the city and most of the sightseeing monuments can be reached by foot. I would say that the best feature this hotel has is the location. During summer time it’s even better because you have the Tiberina Island on the Tiber River next to your hotel and that’s where the summer festivals are held.

Every room has a private bathroom which is not that big but sparkling clean. The rooms aren’t that big either but actually have a standard size for Italian conditions. If you’re looking for luxury then this isn’t the place to come too, this hotel is essential and functional but not luxurious. Domus Tiberina is located in a quite location because traffic doesn’t drive though a lot.

Breakfast is included in the price, which is a typical Italian one. Italians don’t eat very much in the morning, probably because of the heavy late dinners they have. From the hotel you’ll receive a ticket and then you’ll be sent to a restaurant called Cronocopia just around the corner.
