  1. I’m taking my family to Italy during the summer of 2014. We will be first time visitors in Rome. We will be there for 12 days. Our family is into history, food and wine. What is the best area to stay, we would like to be quite central to shops, restaurants and sightseeing. I would really appreciate you sharing your knowledge of Rome with us, so that we can make the right choice. Thank you!

    • Hello Anthony!
I would stay in the center part of Rome near Piazza di Spagna or Piazza del Popolo. You’ll be near the best Italian and International fine shops! If you like great food and wine, don’t forget to visit the Enoteca in Via della Croce, 76B.
