Le Palme Hotel Amalfi
Le Palme Amalfi is situated up in the hills above Amalfi, giving the most stunning views of the hills sides covered in lemon trees and the Mediterranean. If you don't mind the venture out of town, Le Palme Amalfi is well worth the trek. It's also nice to leave the hustle and bustle behind in Amalfi and get some peace and quiet at night. You have the option of taking the steps (around 700) down to Amalfi center. It's about a twenty minute walk with all the breathtaking views on your way there. An alternative would be to take the local bus (from Pogerola up the hill). Your best option is to take the easy walk down and then take the bus back up.
Le Palme Hotel Amalfi is a family owned hotel that is absolutely amazing. It is about 300 steps down from the road above. It does have a very slow moving elevator to assist you with your luggage. When arriving at the hotel you are greeted with a warm welcome. The family and their staff are absolutely accommodating and professional. They are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer your questions.

It could be a problem if you have any sort of mobility issue. As I mentioned before, there are a very large amount of stairs.
The easiest way to reach Le Palme Amalfi is to take the Pogerola bus from Amalfi and get off at the Excelsior Grand Hotel Amalfi stop. Half way down the Excelsior hotel, you will see a staircase (around 300) that will lead down to the left half way down Le Palme Hotel Amalfi.
