Hotel Prestige Sorrento
Hotel Prestige Sorrento is perfectly situated on the top of the Sorentine Peninsula. With magnificent views to the sea, to Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. It is about a twenty minute drive from the center of Sorrento. However, the flexible times of the complimentary hotel shuttle service means that you can enjoy the hotel facilities, the peace and quiet of the Sorrento Hills and of course the fabulous scenery. And when you want to go shopping, or sightseeing you can take the free bus to the town center whenever you want to. It is also conveniently located for taking tours to other places. Such as taking the train to Pompeii, visit the Isle of Capri and the Amalfi coast.
Hotel Prestige Sorrento has twenty-five generous sized rooms. They are all designed a bit differently. All are very cozy, decorated with modern and charming furniture. Most rooms offer a captivating panoramic sea view. All rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a flat screen satellite TV. They also have a safe, a mini-bar and a direct dial telephone. Bathrooms come with a bathtub or shower, hair dryer and necessary toiletries
From check-in to check-out, the staff at the hotel is excellent. From reception, to the waiters at breakfast, housekeeping, the porter and the shuttle bus drivers couldn't be more helpful. They are very friendly and will accommodate any request. Nothing is too difficult for them.
There is no restaurant in-house, but they offer a shuttle service to two nearby restaurants. The hotel does offer a menu with plenty of snacks (a fabulous Caprese salad) and drink options that can be eaten in many of the available seating areas around the hotel.
The breakfast is excellent, with something for everyone. A wide range of different options including bacon, eggs, beans, etc to cereals and pastries. Breakfast goes for three hours, so if you fancy a late one that is ok too.
The pool is set upon a glorious terrace that overlooks the mountains. There are many walking paths around the hotel so you can soak in the magnificent views. They have a rooftop area where you can enjoy a drink and admire the view of the Bay of Naples and the mighty Vesuvius.
Hotel Prestige Sorrento has private parking in front of the hotel, and it's free.
You can also enjoy a fabulous tour of the coast that is organized through the hotel for a better price than private tours.
The road in front of the hotel is a bit winding, with no walking room. Be aware. It can get a little dangerous, especially at night.
Room Tip: The higher levels allow for breathtaking views of the Sorrento hillside. The views looking down onto Sorrento as the sunsets is just stunning.
